Traditional Islamic Art conveys the spirituality and message of Islam through a timeless language of symbolism.
Ibn Muqla Centre of Arts invites you to explore this language of symbols through the medium of Miniature painting.
Course Structure:
We are offering an introductory three month course that includes the theoretical, historical and practical aspects of this art. The course authors include Professor Bashir Ahmed, Head of Department of Fine Arts at the National College of Arts and Taimoor Khan Mumtaz, a student of Dr. Martin Lings.

The course will be taught by a student of Bashir Ahmed sahib, Fyza Aamir, an NCA graduate with a degree in fine arts majoring in miniature painting.Course duration will be three months: Nov 2013 -Jan 2014.
