Arabic Calligraphy at Hast-o-Neest



Arabic calligraphy, thus, is the art of beautiful or elegant handwriting as exhibited by the correct formation of characters, the ordering of the various parts, and harmony of proportions.




In the Islamic world, calligraphy has traditionally been held in high regard. The high esteem accorded to the copying of the Quran, and the aesthetic energy that was devoted to it, raised Arabic calligraphy to the status of an art. http://calligraphyislamic.com/


CALLIGRAPHY CLASSES AT HAST-O-NEEST are on-going, interested students can enroll throughout the year.


The duration of one module is three months. There are four modules of learning calligraphy at Hast-o-Neest: primary, secondary, advanced and higher. The course includes traditional pen and traditional paper making.


Calligraphy Sunday Class: Irfan Ahmed Qureshi, 2 to 4 pm, Rs. 2000/month


Calligraphy Regular Class: Irfan Ahmed Qureshi, 3 to 5 pm, Rs. 3000/month, Fridays & Saturdays
