travelogue session on Iraq
Have you heard of the 12 Imams? Do you know who they were and what is their
story?
They are the family of the Prophet (S.A.W.).
One of the twelve Imams, Imam Ja'fer e Sadiq (a.s.) was from the
generation of the Followers (Tabi’een) and would narrate hadiths, most of which
he had heard from his father Imam al-Baqir (a.s.), to a large number of
prominent scholars such as Imams Malik, Abu Hanifa and Sufyan al-Thawri, may
Allah be pleased with them. [Sawa’iq al-Muhriqa, Ibn Hajr al-Haytami].
