Seven Workshop Series on
In Search of Pakistan: Iqbal's Vision

The Birth of Pakistan according to Iqbal
Workshop series for everyone, whether you know a lot about Iqbal or nothing at all by Khurram Ali Shafique based on his book ‘Iqbal: His Life & Our Times’ (2014) – the workshops will use activities, audio-visual aids and discussions.

The Zen of Iqbal Seven Workshop Series on Iqbal’s Vision offers a new perspective on the birth of Pakistan and Iqbal’s contribution in it. According to this new perspective, the Indian Muslim community adopted three successive goals between 1887 and 1946, and successfully achieved each goal in a fixed period of time. The birth of Pakistan was one of these goals.

Iqbal happened to be the thinker who systematically studies this process from within and developed a method for explaining how a nation or a community can organize itself so that it may always achieve its goals even against great odds.

Khurram Ali Shafique is an Iqbal scholar who has received a Presidential Iqbal Award.
