About the recorded lecture series title Ka'l Yaquti:
The purpose of this lecture series is to acquire a basic
understanding of the nature of Prophets as ‘jewels’, and as ‘perfect’ (not
ordinary) human beings using the example of the Noble Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.)
in particular. Each lecture series is divided into two sections: A historical narration and a
commentary on that narration.
The historical narratives are selected from three renowned biographies (sirah) of Abu al-Qasim Muhammad ibn Abd Allah ibn Abd al-Muttalib ibn Hashim (570-632 A.D.) (S.A.W.) as a Prophet and Messenger of God: Ibn Ishaq (c.704-767), Muhammad Haykal (1888-1956) & Dr. Martin Lings (1909-2005).
