Seminar 01: ‘Epistemology in Islamic Philosophy‘ 
Semianr 02: 'God, World & Man in Islamic Metaphysics'

The first seminar will introduce participants to the theory of knowledge in Islamic Philosophy ...The seminar will be conducted in Urdu and English. Lectures will be accompanied with handouts and corresponding readings with a comprehensive question and answer session to ease the understanding of the subject.

Architects. He specialises in Islamic Architecture – its philosophy, principles and
methods – and is also the founding director of ‘Hast-o-Neest Institute of Traditional
Studies & Arta.

FATIMA FAYYAZ studied the Farsi language at Oriental College, Punjab University 
and at Khana e Farhang in Lahore. She is currently sitting for her Masters in Farsi Literature 
and teaches Farsi at Hast-o-Neest.

Dr. Kamal Munir is a Professor in Strategy & Policy at the University of Cambridge, where he has been teaching since 2001. Dr Munir has published numerous articles in leading journals, and presented his work at numerous international conferences. At the same time, he has written numerous articles for newspapers and magazines including the EPW(Economic and Political Weekly) Financial TimesThe GuardianNewslineDawn and several others. His work has been quoted and cited in several forums, including BBC's Hard Talk, Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek etc. Dr Munir's practical experience includes consultant or trainer for several organisations, including the World Bank; the Department of Trade and Industry, UK; the Asian Development Bank; the Government of Pakistan; the State Bank of Pakistan among several others.

Arabic Language on Weekends for Children

Arabic Language & Conversation for Children - Ages 12 to 16 years
Saturdays & Sundays - 12:00  to 1:00 pm - 2 Months Duration - Rs.2500 per month
The course is based on Classical Arabic and will introduce children to basic grammar, vocabulary and conversation.

Khalid Usman Alvi Al-Azhari
is one of the renowned qurra of Pakistan. He has represented Pakistan in numerous international forums of Quran recitation. He also advises television channels on programmes related to qir'at and is a faculty member at Superior University.

Dr. Shahzad Qaiser as Chairman Hast-o-Neest Board of Advisors will award the certificates of achievement.



Renowned Iqbal Scholar and intellectual Dr. Shahzad Qaiser is Vice President Iqbal Academy Pakistan. With a distinguished career as a civil servant, Dr. Shahzad Qaiser returned to academia to earn his PhD from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, in 1994 on his dissertation The Metaphysics of Khawaja Ghulam Farid. He has published numerous books, among them, Quest for the Eternal, Of Intellect and Reason, Metaphysics and Tradition, Dimensions of Khawaja Farid’s Metaphysics, the Metaphysics of Khawaja Ghulam Farid, Iqbal and Khawaja Ghulam Farid on Experiencing God.
